Christophe Ayabagabo

Christophe Ayabagabo is the founding member of East Africa Farmers Promotion (EAFP) and a seasoned Agronomist and Agricultural Extension Expert with extensive experience in coordinating agricultural programs and collaborating with multilateral actors in the sector. He possesses a wide range of skills, including sustainable development, stakeholder engagement, market linkages, agricultural extension, and working with farmers' organizations such as cooperatives, self-help groups, water users’ associations, and village-based community development agents. Christophe is also an expert in regenerative agriculture, circular economy, strategic planning, project management, agribusiness for smallholder farmers, capacity building, SMEs promotion, grant management, and advisory services. He holds a master’s degree in development studies and a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, equipping him with the academic foundation and practical expertise to drive impactful changes in the agricultural sector.

Tuzanesha Daniel

Tuzanesha Daniel is a startup builder and consultant with a strong commitment to advancing the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Rwanda. Since 2019, he has worked closely with a diverse range of entrepreneurs, helping to nurture and grow innovative startups. As a Business Developer, he leverages his expertise in Market-Creating Innovation (MCI), Design Thinking, and Lean Startup Methodology to support a variety of startups, including those focused on security tech solutions, food supply chain improvements, software and web development, and Virtual Reality, among others. Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree of Science in International Business and Trade from African Leadership University and is currently pursuing Executive MBA at University of Kigali.

Josiane Mujawayezu

Josiane Mujawayezu is a passionate entrepreneur and environmental advocate with a strong background in science and agriculture. Building on this, Josiane is an expert in producing high-protein animal feed for livestock and aquaculture, as well as organic fertilizers like frass, vermicompost, and vermiwash compost. Moreover, Josiane has a strong commitment to waste management and sustainable agriculture drives innovation and environmental stewardship in the agricultural sector.

Charles Niyomugisha

Charles Niyomugisha is a skilled crop production specialist with extensive experience in sustainable agriculture. Between 2023 and 2024, Charles conducted research in rural areas, analyzing farmers' fertilizer usage to identify sustainable practices that enhance productivity. He also holds certifications in greenhouse management and organic farming, with expertise in compost-making technology. Charles is deeply passionate about transforming market and kitchen waste into high-quality compost, promoting environmental sustainability and improving agricultural productivity.

Ishimwe Bienvenue Theotime

Ishimwe Bienvenue Theotime is a dedicated agricultural professional with bachelor’s degree in agriculture with honors in Soil Sciences at the University of Rwanda - CAVM. Passionate about sustainable agriculture, developing vermicompost from household waste by using locally available resources. Ishimwe's commitment to regenerative agriculture is evident through his research on tillage methods and their impact on soil health, biodiversity, and agricultural productivity. Ishimwe actively promotes innovative solutions for environmental sustainability and sustainable farming practices in Rwanda and beyond.

Mutuyimana Therese

Mutuyimana Therese is an expert with hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture and food security. As the co-founder of the Rwanda Crop Science Student Association, she brings together young professionals to address pressing agricultural challenges. Her entrepreneurial drive led to the co-establishment of an organic composting company that supports Rwanda's agricultural sector by promoting eco-friendly farming through waste reduction and soil enrichment.

Turimurukundo Samson

Turimurukundo Samson is an accomplished agricultural professional with a strong academic foundation in crop production. Samson is an aspiring entrepreneur with achievements include being among the top 24 finalists in the GoGettaz Agripreneur Prize Competition at the AFS Forum 2024 in Rwanda, where he showcased his work as the founder of Agri Organic Inputs, a company specializing in organic fertilizers and bio-pesticides. Samson has also participated in the Aguka Program 2024 and completed the Hanga Hub training program, both of which foster entrepreneurship and innovation in Rwanda.

Eric Iradukunda

Eric Iradukunda is a dedicated advocate for agriculture and environmental conservation. His journey began at EAV Kabutare, where he studied Forestry before earning an Akazikanoze certificate in 2016, gaining key skills in goal setting and financial planning. From 2018 to 2020, he worked with SEGS Ltd, focusing on tree nurseries and organic fertilizer production. While pursuing Agroforestry at the University of Rwanda, he researched soil fertility and partnered with AMAZING INSECT Ltd to develop organic fertilizers using earthworms and black soldier fly larvae. He also contributed to Cavm Mount Broadcasting Group, blending agriculture with media to educate and engage the public. Passionate about sustainable farming, biodiversity, and soil health, Eric believes that "Agriculture is life" and is committed to its preservation.
